Breaking a World Record for Project Compassion
This Project Compassion just keeps getting more and more creative! In a first for us, one school has attempted to break a Guinness World Record whilst raising funds for Project Compassion.
Students and teachers from St Brendan-Shaw College in Devonport Tasmania have marvelled us here at Caritas by aiming to set the record for the “most coins spun simultaneously” in recognition of Project Compassion. To qualify for the record, the school students and staff needed to spin as many $1 coins as they possibly could. All the coins spun for the record breaking attempt are being donated to help improve the lives of the poorest of the poor around the world.
With over 700 staff and students at the school, we may just see this new record in the Guinness Book of Records soon!
Thank you to all at St Brendan-Shaw College for your support and innovation! We hope you make the new world record!
