The wave that touched everyone

I have heard many incredible stories since I was here but none so touching as the one yesterday...
... a little boy (about 5 years old) was running from the wave with his big brother (who was 12), when the water had caught up to them he felt his big brother pick him up and throw him above the wave... the little kid survived but his brother did not.

These stories of courage and sacrifice sit on my heart.

Tonight we are off to share a meal with the youth of alepati to talk to them about how they want to move forward, to remember and to learn.
