Cuts for a Cause

On Sunday 22 January, Partners Hair in Glebe (Sydney) are cutting for a cause, with all funds raised going to our East Africa Crisis Appeal.

With millions of people suffering from East Africa’s worst drought in 60 years, funds are desperately needed to continue providing food, water and humanitarian assistance.

Assisting the socially-conscious Sydney salon are former Waratahs captain and Australian Wallaby Phil Waugh, and current Waratah Tom Carter.

Owner of Partners Hair, Desiree Buist, will be kicking off the fundraiser at 8.00am with the Waratahs players arriving at lunchtime. The dollars they are paying for their haircuts will be going directly to Caritas Australia.

“This is a cause we are passionate about and we need to do as much as possible. We would love every hair salon in the country to do the same. It is the ultimate in worthy causes,” said Desiree.

Hair care company, Redken, are donating all colours used on the day. All hair products including shampoos, conditioners and styling products will be donated by Kevin Murphy. As well, baskets of Kevin Murphy products will be raffled on the day.

All dollars raised will be helping our
brothers and sisters in East Africa.
