Will you walk with Bill?

The people of East Africa walk
many km for food, for water.
Can you put compassion into action?

Bill Mulcahy is a husband, a father of seven daughters, a poppy to two and a primary school teacher. He’s also a Caritas Supporter, passionate about helping people out of poverty and passionate about raising dollars – $16,000 in fact.

From Friday 16 December to Monday 19 December, Bill will be pounding the pavement and leading the 100km ‘Walk with the Poor – Charity Walk’. So far Bill has raised $710 but he needs your help to reach his target. All funds raised will go to the Caritas Australia East Africa Crisis Appeal.

If you live in the Brisbane area, strap on your sneakers, put compassion into action and we’ll see you on the walkways!

When: Friday 16 December to Monday 19 December
Where: From Petrie to Brisbane City via walkways and bikeways zigzagging across the northern suburbs.
What: Walk 100km (or as much as you can!)
Why: To raise funds for Caritas Australia’s East Africa Appeal and to collect basic items and gifts to be distributed amongst our poor this Christmas.
How: Please donate at Bill's Caritas page or you can offer basic needs or gifts at any of the designated stops.

For more, head to 100kmwalkwiththepoor.net – thanks for your support!
