On Saturday 19 November, starting at 5.00pm, the Japanese ladies choir Yukari Echo will be performing Opera Arias from Madama Butterfly and Samson et Dalila, as well as Ave Maria, Danny Boy and traditional Japanese songs.
The conductor is graduate of Uenogakuen Music University, Hiroko Sugimoto, while guest performers are Rumiko Saka (violin) and Tomoe Kawabata (piano).
Entry is $10 (under 16 are free) and all monies raised are going to our East Africa Crisis Appeal. Don’t forget, with the Dollar-for-Dollar initiative running until 30 November 2011, all donations will be doubled.
