Help kick 8 important goals
ELIMINATING world poverty is a noble ambition - some might say an unattainable one. But an exhibition currently on in Ballarat gives rise to the thought that possibly - just possibly - we could well eradicate poverty as an issue for future generations. The travelling exhibition, Blueprint for a Better World, looks at the United Nations' eight development goals declared in 2000 to help improve the lives of the billion people across the world who live in extreme poverty.
