
A GROUP of primary school students from St Patricks, Nanango, have been inspired by the first Be More Weekend and will participate in a 24-hour fundraising walkathon.
The Wombat Warblers, a class of 23 Year five students, decided to undertake the walkathon in support of Uganda's students and children to coincide with the official launch of the "Be More" challenge from 7-9 August.

The first Be More Weekend is fast approaching, 7-9 August. The weekend is all about getting back to basics: spending time with friends and family, contributing to your local community, greening your environment and simply ‘being’. There are currently over 2,700 people registered and committed to ‘be just… be green… be more’ for 3 days.
